Our Story

When Jane Brodsky and Katie Geffken met for coffee in 2011, they quickly discovered a shared desire to create a fitness space that people could really call home. They decided to open a studio where the clients would be the rock stars, where all would feel welcome, and where the classes would be intense, effective, and fun. Period.

Biker Barre was the first-ever indoor cycling and barre studio in DC. Since opening in 2012, we have consistently won awards from the Washington City Paper, Washingtonian, the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce, and most importantly – rave reviews from our clients.

In February 2019, we expanded the Biker Barre community to Cabin John Village in Potomac, Maryland. The centrally located shopping complex is undergoing a complete transformation by EDENS and Biker Barre’s newest studio is thrilled to be welcoming new clients at the brand new studio space.
